Here we go again...another year

Another year is upon us and like us all, one can't help but look back on the year with a bit of perspective.  I'm happy to report that despite our differences of opinion, my husband and I still get along and working on projects for Thrasher Works.  Unfortunately, I've also discovered we can have the same tenancy to procrastinate.  Imagine if we worked together full time...nothing would ever get done.  Maybe.  Luckily, there were a few highlights and even completed projects.

Thrasher Works teamed up with THA to create the Dallas Arboretum exhibit honoring world explorers.  We're happy to report that the exhibit survived the year; it was taken down just last week.

While not quite complete, this next project is definitely a highlight.  Though we are still  finishing up the drawings and starting the pricing exercise, we have confidence it will be built.  I can't wait to see how this backyard shop will be used.

Being much more tangible, the handcrafted cutting boards made from the wood scraps of the  shop are being offered for sale at the Dallas Museum of Art's Store.  Not bad, yes?  It's still very exciting for us so please go check them out!

Finally, let's talk about procrastination.  At Thrasher Works we call it Motus.  One of these days, we'll finally have something to share.  It will be beautiful and it will be late.  Stay tuned!
